Ryon Dieter Bachmann

Ryon joined Innovate UK Business Connect (formerly known as KTN) in January 2021 to lead innovation initiatives in landscaping the robotics & AI technologies and capabilities across the UK.

With a background spanning engineering, health, and technology, Ryon developed a collaborative, cross-sector approach to driving innovation. Drawing on his expertise in robotics, AI, power electronics, machines & drives, and defence & security, Ryon’s primary focus became delivering the Driving the Electric Revolution programme.

Ryon’s focus now is on Emerging & Enabling Technologies across sectors and leading the Horizon Scanning programme activities from Innovate UK Business Connect’s side.
