Serena Broadway

Based in Edinburgh, I am the Knowledge Transfer Adviser for the East of Scotland, responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of successful Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) between businesses and academia. My nominated knowledge bases are St Andrews University, Dundee University, Napier University, Abertay University and the James Hutton Institute.

Prior to this role, I spent 10 years in KTN’s AgriFood Team supporting companies of all sizes in the Food and Drink sector to access the expertise and funding to drive innovation. I also led the coordination of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council funded Diet and Health Research Industry Club, which has provided £22 million of funding to the sector.
