Project Overview

The Centre for Digital Innovation (CDI) is a Greater Manchester-based initiative aimed at generating innovation and growth in digital technology. It leverages expertise from four leading universities and 10 locally based further education colleges to support businesses in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, industrial digitalisation, and immersive technology.

The CDI offers a range of services, including technical research and development, business model support, skills development and localised community outreach via the colleges.

By addressing the adoption curve of these technologies and providing access to resources to the most disadvantaged, CDI aims to contribute to Greater Manchester’s development as a digital leader and create a fairer, more prosperous society.
