- Mint Ventures is committed to addressing the gender imbalance in angel investing and venture capital by encouraging and training more women to become angel investors. Full members can invest from as little as £2k per deal.
- Mint Ventures addresses the significant funding gap faced by women entrepreneurs: women start businesses with less capital, receive a fraction of VC funding, and are underrepresented among business angels.
We invest in early-stage companies, with a preference for those eligible for EIS/SEIS tax relief. We look for diverse teams who show a clear social, ethical or environmental purpose with at least one woman in the leadership team to provide diversity of thought which has been proven to develop more sustainable companies. We are particularly interested in underfunded sectors where women are more likely to start-up businesses.
By increasing the number of women investors and supporting diverse founding teams, Mint Ventures aims to unlock economic opportunities and contribute to a more gender-balanced economy.
