Growing businesses, creating jobs and building better local services across London.
Four London boroughs are using Net Zero Living support to improve local services, skills and community collaboration.
Newham trained council teams, local people and businesses in climate skills, explored circular economy hubs, and launched local sustainability networks.
Westminster’s Retrofit Taskforce worked with planners, landlords and heritage experts to test practical ways to upgrade older buildings.
Haringey partnered with training providers and employers to build retrofit skills and supply chains.
Lambeth developed a new digital hub to connect residents, groups and businesses with climate action.
The programme also supported London-based businesses including Amphibio, Carbon Cell, Cyanoskin, GoodMine, Loowatt, Mimica, Mosa, Preoptima, PulpaTronics and New Resource Partners. With the support of the Design Council, they worked closely with users, from councils to consumers, to ensure their products met real needs.
Together, these projects are helping create green jobs, stronger businesses and better services for Londoners.
