Abigail Devenney puts her entrepreneurial flair down to watching her parents run their own successful businesses. It was also her mother’s career as an aesthetics practitioner that provided the idea for her business.
For years, Abigail watched her mother struggle to support her clients after their treatment. This prompted her to conduct wider research with other practitioners, which pointed to a general lack of post-treatment support.
Abigail set about starting an aesthetics aftercare brand, It’s Just For Me. It aims to minimise patients’ side effects, educate them on staying safe and support them in their aftercare journey.
The product is at the final sample stage. The next phase will be to conduct clinical trials and develop an interactive webpage.
“Setting up a business is exciting, but it can feel like you’ve been thrown into the deep end. I applied to this programme to grow my skills as an entrepreneur and understand how to develop a brand,” says Abigail.
