The innovative app making it easier to store digital receipts
Tash Grossman came up with the idea for Slip after she tried to return a pair of trousers but was denied because she’d lost her receipt.
She decided that there had to be a better way to store receipts digitally, which didn’t involve standing at the checkout till and reciting her email address for everyone to hear.
Slip is a digital receipt and data solution on a mission to “digitally transform the high street for a paperless tomorrow”. Customers using the app can store their digital receipts in one place, access exclusive offers and go completely paperless.
After raising pre-seed funding, the app is in development and Tash plans to launch it early next year. She hopes to use her time on the Young Innovators programme to learn from other entrepreneurs and improve her resilience in business.
“I am looking to network and share experiences with other Young Innovators as we all navigate the world of entrepreneurship and innovation. I also want to learn from previous winners and extract key lessons around resilience when building a business as a young person,” she adds.
