Innovate UK at NHS ConfedExpo 2025 - Scaling health innovation for real-world impact
Innovate UK will be participating in NHS ConfedExpo 2025, the UK’s flagship health and care conference, taking place on 11 – 12 June 2025 in Manchester.
The conference will give Innovate UK the opportunity to highlight its support for UK-wide innovation co-created with the NHS, backed by targeted investment, evidence and collaboration.
NHS ConfedExpo will bring together more than 5,000 senior leaders, clinicians, innovators and partners from across the health and care system.
Jointly delivered by the NHS Confederation and NHS England, the conference offers the opportunity to explore ways to tackle the sector’s biggest challenges through innovation: from digital transformation and integrated care to mental health and personalised medicine.

Accelerating impact across the ecosystem
At this year’s NHS ConfedExpo, Innovate UK will showcase a curated portfolio of companies and initiatives that reflect the central theme Showcasing innovation from across the UK.
This includes novel technologies and approaches that are not only scientifically robust but also practical, scalable, and aligned with NHS priorities.
To achieve this, we’re engaging a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders who are essential to turning ideas into impact. From NHS trust executives and integrated care system (ICS) leaders — the key decision-makers in innovation adoption — to commissioners, procurement teams, and clinicians who drive frontline implementation, our focus is on fostering meaningful connections across the health economy. Equally important are health tech SMEs, academic partners, and translational researchers, who bring cutting-edge solutions and evidence into the pipeline. We also recognise the critical role of patient representatives, charities, and community organisations, whose insights help shape equitable and user-centred innovation.
Come and visit Innovate UK at stand D94 and engage directly with the innovators shaping tomorrow’s health system. You will have the opportunity to:
- Discover live demonstrations and practical tools from health-tech startups, scale-ups, and research bodies that are ready to implement solutions into the NHS and social care.
- Network with funders, clinicians, researchers, and system leaders to explore adoption pathways and collaborative opportunities.
- Learn how innovations co-created with NHS partners are moving from lab to frontline; improving efficiency, enhancing equity, and delivering smarter, sustainable healthcare.
